The Skull Valley Horse Ranch is located approximately five miles north of the unincorporated rural ranching community of Skull Valley. Skull Valley is 17 miles southwest of Prescott and 100 miles northwest of Phoenix. Originally a ranching community, Skull Valley has in recent years seen some development of large estates and horse ranches. Services available in the community of Skull Valley include a public elementary school (Grades K-6).Post office, café, general store and service station. Additional governmental, school, service, health care and shopping facilities are found in Prescott, the County seat of Yavapai County.

The property is located approximately 3 miles (on plated “all-weather” road with paved water crossings) north of Iron Springs Road off Tonto Road. A private electronic gate secures access to the property. Picturesque oak trees are abundant, as well as many planted valley cottonwood trees, grapevines, and a vegetable garden. The house, built in 2003, boasts quality and beauty inside and out. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, an office and a game room. Construction is 2X6 wood frame, the roof is rustic metal, all windows are Andersen dual paned, there are 2 air conditioning units and forced gas heat, the central vacuum system also has auto dust pans in walls and the three-car garage has an extra side entrance for a golf cart. A Coleman Power Station 15000 auto back-up generator provides power in the event of an outage.
Floor to ceiling windows in the great room show off the breathtaking views of majestic oak trees, pastures and Granite Mountain. The corner stone gas fireplace is situated next to the entertainment center that also has niches for art. The ceiling is covered in wood and has large wood beams that guide the transition between the foyer, dining room, kitchen and office off the great room. Knotty alder custom kitchen and laundry room cabinets are finished in distressed red (some with bubbled glass inserts) and very much compliment the rustic, but upscale feel of the house. A 4-burner Wolf propane stove with griddle/grill has a custom painted tile backsplash. All counters are granite, and the kitchen and great room floors are made of circa 1904 trestle wood from a bridge over the Great Salt Lake in Utah. The refrigerator is custom Sub Zero, the dishwasher is a 2-drawer Fisher-Paykel, and the custom “appliance garage” houses smaller appliances. A cottage sink is the center of a breakfast bar/work area that overlooks a casual dining area with vast windows that look on to the landscaped backyard and pool, trees, pastures and mountains.
The spacious laundry room (and all bathrooms) have slate tile floors and granite countertops. There is an abundance of storage, a built-in ironing board and laundry chute from the upstairs bedroom. A powder room off the laundry room has easy access to the outside.
The master bedroom suite is spacious, with gorgeous views, 2 “his and hers” closets, slate tile and dual heads in the shower. Barn:
The charming and functional 16-stall barn has been reinforced and modernized but keeps its rustic appearance. There is a large office, a tack room, a shop, washroom with a wash rack with hot water, a storage room and a foaling stall. All 18 stalls have been completely rebuilt with Rocking J interiors, exteriors and hardware, a Shoo-fly automatic fly control system, timed lights and automatic waterers. Hay Barn:

Arena:
The 275’ x 185’ working arena is a horseman’s dream. It is equipped for roping and working cowhorse with a return alley, holding pens, and a roping chute. Two domestic wells (approximately 35+ gallons per minute) service the houses.
